Chris Capuano- The Free Agent Steal Of The Season
I seriously doubted the signing of Free Agent pitcher Chris Capuano during this past off season. Up to this point, he is making me look bad and I couldn't be happier. He has more wins (4) than Chad Billingsley and Clayton Kershaw together and a better ERA than both. He is the free agent steal of the off season.
I really have to question the Dodgers signing a couple of days ago of Outfielder Bobby Abreu. I hope I am proven wrong again. I believe this signing was due in large part to the Spring Training and AAA struggles of Jerry Sands. They made a couple of different roster moves. Relief pitcher Mike MacDougal was designated for Assignment (he has to clear waivers and accept the assignment first) and Infielder Justin Sellers was sent to Albuquerque. Ronald Belisario was activated before playing the Chicago Cubs last night and pitched a scoreless inning. It has been well over a year since he has pitched in a game.
